Legacy Toffee Butter Cookies
3/4 Cup Soft Butter
1/2 Cup Granulated Sugar
1 Cup Light Brown Sugar (packed)
2 Eggs (room temperature)
1 Tbsp Vanilla Extract
1 Tsp Davis baking powder (if you don’t have Davis you can use 1/2 tsp baking soda and 1/2 tsp baking powder to get a similar texture).
2 Cups Bread Flour (yes this is different than regular flour!)
1 Cup Legacy Toffee ½ White Chocolate ½ Milk Chocolate (sold at Rustic Roots) beat toffee with a mallet until crumbled to desired texture.
Mix all wet ingredients first then mix in dry ingredients using mixer with beater attachments.
Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes on the middle oven rack.
